STORY: The Chateau Robin is an amphitheater on the Castillon plateau on pure limestone with a light layer of sand, gravel and clay.
-
VINIFICATION: After the gentle harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and separated from the mash. Fermentation takes place under controlled temperatures. The wine is then stored in stainless steel tanks until it is bottled. Storage in barriques is deliberately avoided in order to preserve the easily accessible, finely fruity character.
-
AROMA: Notes of blackberries and blueberries.
-
RATING: Elegant and layered. Wonderfully fruity on the palate with a wonderfully integrated acid structure and soft tannins.
-
SERVING RECOMMENDATION: Enhances any poultry dish, red meat or spicy cheese. Recommended drinking temperature 18°C.
