In and around Walsheim, the vines grow on loess soil with a little lime content, which gives the wines a harmonious and substantial character. In addition, Markus Pfaffmann has been vinifying his wines vegan for some time. He also attaches great importance to sustainability. Responsible treatment of the environment and society is important to him, which is why the winery has been a member of Fair'n Green since 2015.
