A big family, a big shared passion, a century of family history in 5 generations: from great-grandfather Antonio to today's sole managing director Italo, who runs the company together with his daughter Anna and son Andrea. Whole generations of winegrowers, distillers, oenologists and wine connoisseurs have grown together with the Maschio family. They shared and share the quest for innovation and the desire for quality at every stage of production. The history of Maschio began at the end of the 19th century in Cismon del Grappa, between the banks of the Brenta River and the peaks of Monte Grappa, where the Maschio family cultivated land and still distilled grappa with a portable device. It was Antonio Maschio who put the entrepreneurial stamp on the art of distillation in the early 20th century. With the introduction of the Acquavit Prime Uve at the end of the 80s under Italo Maschio, the company was again at a turning point and has been on the road to success ever since.
